Do you want to make your home more sustainable, but are not sure how? Then you can enlist the help of a free energy coach from our municipality. The energy coach will help you explore the opportunities and possibilities in your home. How can you minimize your energy consumption? What small measures can help? How can you best insulate your home in your situation? How can you contribute to reducing gas consumption and CO2 emissions?

What does the energy coach do?

The energy coach looks at your house with you and tells you what areas need improvement. He/she makes a so-called energy scan, makes a report of this and makes a step-by-step plan with you. Together you can see where improvements can be made. After an agreed period, the energy coach will contact you again to go over the planned measures. In case of intermediate questions, you can ask the coach for information by e-mail.

10 volunteer energy coaches

The Berg en Dal Sustainability Café launched a call within the municipality for the recruitment of energy coaches in late 2021. The municipality of Berg en Dal paid the costs for the training of the energy coaches and the advisory process. 10 volunteers attended the energy coach training.
