What is R75?
R75 provides outpatient counseling to youth between the ages of 16 and 23. They support young people in various areas such as: Finding their own place to live, income assistance, debt assistance, job search, going to school and wellness. R75 is particularly knowledgeable about transition issues 18-/18+ and has years of experience with homeless and homeless youth. R75 is approachable and outreach-oriented. They work from the perception of the young person. (They do not actively go out into the streets, this is done by the youth workers)
Young people do not have to have a concrete need for help right away and are still welcome even after they have missed several appointments. A program takes about a year with an average of 1.5 hours of guidance per week.
A component of R75 is JOOP.
JOOP is a meeting and coordination point for (helping) young parents and pregnant girls between the ages of 14 and 23. At JOOP young people can ask all their questions about pregnancy, birth and parenting. In addition, R75 can provide information and advice on matters such as money matters, housing situation, work and education opportunities, rights and obligations.
Contra indications:
R75 does not offer counseling to youth with serious addiction problems.
Application procedure
R75 works in a low-threshold manner appropriate to the target group. Young people can register themselves at R75 through the website or by walking into their homes.
Should you as a counselor wish to sign up a young person, it is desirable to coordinate with them first.
