Volunteer neighborhood mediators try to get neighbors to talk to each other again. To do this, mediators first visit the neighbor/claimant to get acquainted. Then the neighborhood mediators visit the neighbor to hear their side of the story.

If both neighbors are willing to mediate, you will hold a mediation meeting together at a place in the neighborhood. The neighborhood mediators, who are of course bound by confidentiality, try to ensure that the parties find a solution themselves.
