Integral Early Help (IVH). is/provides timely assistance to children ages 0 to 7 and preterm infants. The help is used for questions about development or behavior and is given to child and parent/caregiver. Integral Early Help is given throughout the Netherlands.
Integral Early Help combines knowledge and experience of all professionals within the chain of care and education. In this multidisciplinary approach, we reach solutions faster.
Integral Early Help in your area
The wishes, questions, possibilities of your child, you as a parent and the family are central. The help is provided as close to home as possible and care providers from different institutions work together to provide coherent help. The help responds flexibly to changing needs.
In 2011, the Early, Continuing, Integral plan was drawn up in which Integral Early Care was set up in 7 building blocks. Changes within early childhood care, due in part to the introduction of the Youth Act in 2015, have taught us that there is now a need to more firmly position and emphasize 3 of these 7 building blocks.
As a municipality, how do I organize good care for vulnerable children with (imminent) developmental delays? For good diagnostics and care of vulnerable children aged zero to seven years with a (threatening) developmental delay caused by a disability, behavioral problems and/or a chronic illness, there is Integral Early Help.
