It is an intensive way to exercise your body while walking. Using proper technique and good nordic walking poles can greatly improve fitness and endurance. It is important to perform nordic walking with proper technique. Not only does this prevent injuries, but with properly executed technique, the highest possible return on effort is achieved.
On various days of the week, 50 weeks a year, groups of practiced nordic walkers walk from various locations. There is a suitable nordic group for everyone. In addition to the weekly walks, additional activities are regularly organized such as: the spring/autumn walk with various distances and starting points, the N 70 route on December 29 and of course the monthly Friday walks, each time from a different starting point. At these walks also members of the sports groups and non-members are allowed. (Check the agenda).
Every Nordic walking member of Kwiek Active Lifestyle, the Beweegcollectief Mook en Middelaar, Fit&Fun and Gennep Vitaal may walk anywhere. So if you are a member of Kwiek Active Lifestyle, you may also walk on all other days and hours in Malden, Berg en Dal, Mook and Gennep.
Nordic Walking can be practiced by anyone, anywhere and with anyone you like. The first six lessons are technique lessons.
