Learn to cope with your sibling with a disability

Do you have a brother(s) or sister(s) with disabilities?
Do you ever wonder why your brother(s) or sister(s) act so differently?
And do you enjoy talking about it with other children with a sibling(s) with a disability?

Then this group is for you!

The group meets 8 times. Everyone has a brother or sister with a disability.
Each time there is a topic we talk about or watch movies.
We can also do fun activities such as crafts or play a game.

For whom.

This group is for children ages 8 to 12.
They all have a brother or sister with a disability.

When?

Mondays Jan. 12, 19 and 26 2026 from 3:30 to 5 p.m.
Mondays Feb. 2, 9 and 23 from 3:30 to 5 p.m.
Monday, March 2 and 9, from 3:30 to 5 p.m.

Where?

In the municipality of Overbetuwe. You'll get the address when you join.

What are we going to do?

We discuss a theme each week. We talk, do crafts, play games and watch movies with each other. The topics are:

• You get an explanation of your sibling's disability.
• What does this mean to you?
• What do you like and dislike about your sibling?
• What do you need?

What does it cost to participate?

You don't have to pay anything.
