Throughout the municipality of Berg en Dal, we come to collect tiles you remove from your garden yourself free of charge. The condition is that you replace the old tiles with plants. We organize this action together with the Derdebaan vegetable team. Through this page you can sign up for the tile cab.

You can sign up by sending an email to steenbreek@bergendal.nl and include the following information:

• Your name, address, phone number and e-mail address
• How many m2 of bricks you offer
• A photo of where the stones go out

How many tiles will we collect from you?

• Starting from 20 pieces, we come to you. We collect a maximum of 150 tiles.
• The tiles should be a maximum of 30×30 cm (due to weight).
• The tile cab only picks up tiles. We do not take gravel, border edging, sand or debris.

We will contact you to pick a good day and time to pick up the tiles.

Offer your tiles in an easy place. Stack them in your front yard, driveway or on the street where you normally put the dumpster.

The tile cab will have a winter break from December 1, 2024 to March 1, 2025. We do not pick up tiles during that period.

Reuse your tiles

A new owner can be found for almost anything. There is usually a green project or vegetable garden nearby that would love to use tiles to make paths or containers. Or turn them into a bee hotel yourself! See how to do that here.
